Nando's

It's full of hipsters and skinny students - ten of them scrapping over a minty chicken carcass. Go the fkin chippy lads, it's quicker, cheaper and you get more scran, you bunch of scruffs.

Only ate in one the once, and only then 'cos we were in a rush getting to a gig and short of options. Was alright, but I'm unlikely to go back. Honestly though, I'd rather go for a kebab or a KFC or summat and 'cos I don't get 'fast food' all that often, when I do I want it to be proper dirty, perhaps even risky so why muck about. I'm similar when it comes to shaggin.

It probably is cheaper to get a flight to Portugal and get proper chicken with chips there, rather than the dry, overpriced Nando's one

How cheeky was it on a scale of soft banter to TOP LAD?

Mild banter. Just about every grocery here (by here I mean the Fifty Nifty) does rotisserie chicken so I didn't find Nando's to be all that.

I guess it would be similar if Whataburger (what up TxBill) opened in Wavertree - curious to see what the plazzy bellends would say in in your jarg trabs and Tacchini sweat pants with white belts.

Mic drop in 3...2...1...

Boom.

Because of the fact you have to actually get up and order your food like a McDonalds, yet it charges full high-end restaurant prices for tiny portions of stuff massively inferior to any half-decent restaurant.

Everyone I know who goes to Nando's does so because they don't know of or have ever been to a decent restaurant, because the moment they did and tried Nando's again they'd throw that £4 small square plate of rice back in the servers face.

I'd have to question what your image of a high end restaurant is.

A double breast chicken burger with two sides is £10.80. That's hardly massively overpriced and I'd love to know of a 'high end' restaurant where you can pay that for a meal of similar proportions.

Also as somebody else said, paying when you order is far more convenient and actually fits with the market sector the brand sits in. The food is still brought to you.

I much prefer paying up front. Hate it when you go to Europe and have to wait around trying to get the waiter's attention so you can get the bill to pay for a cup of coffee.
