Yes and goals get conceded by most teams most weeks...

I'm not slating the attack or excusing the defending. I'm saying at times this season we have created tons of opportunities and should have put them away.

I'm naming examples of that when they clearly affected the result mate.

Norwich, Palace, Swansea (home and away), WBA, West Ham with the penalty the other day.

Our defence is poor, but that means that when we have the opportunity to kill the game we have to do it.

In some games we have - usually by making it 3-0 and it's over and done with. That's a sad indictment of the defence yes, but also indicates that in games where we've had more than enough chances we should be putting one or two more (of the ten) away.
But these happen all the time. I can think off the top of my head City away and Spurs 1st half at home when we were lucky not to get beat. These things happen. I'm sure there's other chances that we've been lucky with as well in other games.
If you are going to pick our missed chances then you have to even it up with any we have had against.

Top 4 scorers. Close to bottom 4 scored against. So mid table is where we should be. The answer to make that better isn't to score more goals, it's to concede less.

I'm not disagreeing with you per-say mate. The defence needs to be better.

I'm saying in certain games (Norwich away being the perfect example) we should have had a bag ful. It wasn't like they were long range efforts etc like Spurs when they hit the posts. They were sitters. We score them we kill the game and our shaky defence has less chance of capitulating.

Little bearing in that he won't be sacked regardless of the result. An FA Cup semi would silence more than a few doubters though, rest assured.

No it won't. It is the league form and the winning rate. However, if Martinez manages to win the competition then that is another matter.

Agreed. I'd like also to make it fair to all sides by asking for a ban on the insults to the manager please like coco, el fraudo and Catalan clown.

It also makes me cringe as blue hearing nuggets use these terms. Usually twenty something wools.
What about Ian Hola-way or Antonio Mowbray?

Well it isn't though.

If we lose RM isn't getting sacked, no matter how much you want it to happen.

He won't get sacked on Saturday night that's for sure. But lose and it becomes one step closer. Win and we're obviously at Wembley. Either way in my opinion he's still never going to be good enough for us.

So you hate bobby more than you love everton

That's your way of looking at my viewpoint. Personally, I care far more about the club I've supported for 50 years than I do this clown Martinez. I'd love to see us in another semi-final but overall results and league position show he needs to go. It will take longer for the trigger to be pulled if we win Saturday so like I said earlier for me its a win win.
