I do like this picture with the little sign in the background.......

I'm calling it now, Moshiri is paying for the club by developing and patenting a new game called Forum Sniper.

The object of the game is to wager whose head you are going to explode purely by the releasing, or significantly non-releasing, of information.

While previously this game has been played with such blunt gambits as the "Ossie goes carting", "Hibbert caught a big pike", and "Howard played a blinder in the 4:0 defeat" releases, it believed that Mr Moshiri is planning on bringing it to a whole new level with such plays as the "leaking information to the press and then not being around to confirm or deny it" play, or his new favorite, "Letting certain forumites wind themselves into a complete lather over a time frame that exists only in their own mind, and then at a strategic moment, saying absolutely nothing" move.

Like it Michael....this guy could have a future.

Here are my thoughts for what they're worth.
Club released the brief official statement on the back of the press breaking the news.
The statement gives the position succintly.
Approval has now been granted so the deal can go ahead.
When the deal is done, i's dotted and t's crossed the club will issue a further statement with the new board composition/appointment of Mr Moshiri.
Mr Moshiri will then issue a statement which will possibly be general in nature, but may contain detail of his intentions.
It's just normal procedure but bear in mind that it is entirely up to Mr Moshiri if and when he gives details of his intention to invest and the amounts involved, especially with regard to players.
So, sit back and relax. Good times ahead.

I have said this many times but now am even more convinced of it. Moshiri through his shares in certain companies, ties with Usmanov and Skoch, is worth a LOT more than the £1.3 billion being reported. This £1.3 billion figure comes from his 10% stake in Metalloinvest through Gallagher Holdings and valuations of it. Forbes only estimate things with what they are able to find out for 'certain'.

For example it is clear Usmanov is Russia's richest man but estimates of his wealth vary and it would be impossible to know for sure. Imo the likes of Moshiri and Usmanov are just going to get richer and richer.

This article claims Usmanov, Skoch and Moshiri own an umbrella company that is 'to have profits of around 7 billion annually'.

Metalloinvest also own over 4% of Norilsk Nickel and the forbes page on Moshiri confirms he has a stake. Abrahmovic is an agent of Norilsk Nickel. There's plenty of articles about mystery over % of shareholding in that company and I have read the company worth is at least 30 billlion.

I really truly believe we will see massive amounts of money pumped into Everton very, very quickly, separate from any wishful thinking that Usmanov is directly or indirectly going to be involved in the future.

1.3billion is personal wealth, the rest of his worth tied up in businesses etc is believed to be around 2.4 billion.
