Then he can tell us what the future plan is himself rather than us relying on hearsay and Chinese whispers concerning the stadium and squad investment.

Nobody in the right mind would reveal the amount of money they were going to spend on squad investment, the papers will try to second guess it but they're just trying to sell papers.

I always say listen to your customers because if they are not happy you don't have a business

Except that fans aren't customers. It's not like they're going to go to a different 'shop' if they are unhappy. Plenty of fans contribute nothing to the finances of the club - they watch the game on a stream.

You know what i'm saying though

I do. I'm just not sure I agree. Firstly, which opinions should he be listening to, as you and I well know, the full range are out there. Secondly, why should he listen to them. He's a billionaire business man with several years experience in the workings of a club that regularly qualify for the Champions League and have the biggest cash reserves of any club in the country. Why the hell should he listen to us?

You have to remember that this was announced earlier than intended due to the press speculation and the Daily Mail breaking the story.

It's no coincidence that the story was confirmed Saturday afternoon following 24 hours of speculation.

It changed speculative stories in the Sunday papers into broadly positive comment.

However the early announcement probably means that the work behind the scenes needed to catch up.

Nothing to worry about.
so it's off then?

So what you're saying is... it's just slightly delayed while Usmanov buys the 50.1%.

You've heard Esk, IT'S ON!

If you were in his position would you not listen to the majority of fans.
He will want us in europe and winning trophies and will look at a squad which is capable of that and wonder why we are in the bottom half of the table with a home record worse than villa's.
He will want answers mate and its not a one off it was nearly as bad last year

No mate, I wouldn't because much as we think we're all experts, we aren't.

That doesn't mean I wouldn't want answers to some of the things you mentioned, just that the reason I want those answers has nothing to do with the fans' opinions.

We will have to agree to disagree mate but if i was in his position i would certainly listen to the people that paid the wages especially if it was not going how it should

We dont pay anybodys wages, but its foolish to think we wont have a say in things, theres rumblings currently, we play Chelsea, Arsenal and United next, tough games, any season, for any team, if we lose all 3, which is a possibility, we will have a new manager for Watford.

Is this a facht that your sources have confirmed?

How do you feel about that?
By the way we will beat chelsea i reckon
