he is a British citizen.
You're confusing citizenship with tax status mate.
I'm a British Citizen, hold a full British Passport, but would qualify as a non-dom as I was born in the Isle of Man. (Not minted so ain't worth it). If I were minted, would move back to the IoM to become tax resident there, not the UK, if I were seriously minted, would move to Monaco for the same reason.

he does have residence in monaco, yes, but he also owns houses in London, and somewhere else also.

I don't think any of this would affect his ownership of everton either way, though!

i reckon it's probably just a few minor things and it'll be announced on monday / tuesday that it's been rubber stamped.

no point worrying really.
Well mate I can't divulge my source, was informed by prominent member of staff at GP that it will be rubber stamped on Thursday.

Won't affect how he holds his EFC share (pretty sure it will be offshore like his Arsenal holding was in Jersey), but was initially pointing out that given his probable tax status he has to use his days in the UK wisely
First rule of avoiding tax in the UK - have no residential property available that could be classed as your residence in any way shape or form.

I thought you could own one property in Uk as a "residence" even if domiciled abroad and then separately you had about 50% of the year max to be in UK or would need to pay UK taxes?
