I detest you. We've won 4/5 games and conceded 1 goal in that period. I've been in the Martinez out camp before but now he's actually dropped Howard and paid some attention to our defence it would be stupid to sack him.

Does he blame him for weird team selections, bad tactics and rubbish substitutions?I want him to stay and my dad wants rid. Usually ends up in a disagreement on match day.
Funny thing is, like some on here he blames Martinez for players make mistakes.
Me too. In the 30-45 camp. Not that it means much such is the fickle nature of 70% of us. Stay true lad.Voted in by mistake. Stinker.

Seriously?. I like your dad. Wise man.He does. He said he was an idiot because I didn't pick Ian's favourite players and the formation that works so well on your A4 pad.
Classic cult propaganda Paul. Well played.Interesting. Close to two thirds of the forum voting "in", so far. Not much over 25% "out".
History seems to suggest plotter majority in "In/Out" polls has and will be for the foreseeable future, a phenomenon observed only in the immediate aftermath of bad performance. A knee-jerk overreaction, if you will.
These findings suggest that once posters calm down after their post-match fume, they vote "in".
Classic cult propaganda Paul. Well played.
It's a knee-jerk overreaction to vote 'out' after 19 months of torridness yet voting 'in' because we've won 4 out of 5 games is level headed voting.
*sighs at the thought of a decent poster spouting such tripe.
Beat me to it. Those that have changed their minds on the basis of the last five / six / eight games are the knee-jerkers, by definition.Classic cult propaganda Paul. Well played.

I agree.Beat me to it. Those that have changed their minds on the basis of the last five / six / eight games are the knee-jerkers, by definition.
The general trend under Martinez has been downwards, and he's GOT to reverse that trend. Now, the last five or six games MIGHT be the start of exactly that reversal - I pray to God that it is. But it is the very essence of short-sightedness to say "YES!!! The last five games definitively prove that the wealth of garbage results over the last 20 months are now a thing of the past!". He's got 12(?) game left this season - if this mini-revival turns into sustained improvement, as demonstrated by climbing the table to 8th and EITHER winning the Fa Cup or getting a win in the Derby then I would regard that as a corner turned on the simple basis that it's a bigger chunk of evidence.
He's got the squad to do it... I'd back first-season Martinez to do it. Time will tell, and it's entirely down to him.
I detest you.![]()
Nonsense. I just think it's stupid to sack a manager when he seems to be turning things around. I would never agree with sacking a manager after a win. That's nothing to do with knee jerking.Beat me to it. Those that have changed their minds on the basis of the last five / six / eight games are the knee-jerkers, by definition.

Christ almighty. Thank god you were not in charge after we picked up 4pts V West Ham(h) and Norwich(a) in 94/95Nonsense. No-one is suggesting we should. I think you've misunderstood.Nonsense. I just think it's stupid to sack a manager when he seems to be turning things around. I would never agree with sacking a manager after a win. That's nothing to do with knee jerking.
