......loved Puerto Vallarta in Mexico but it's a bit of a hike so we found a really good hotel in Cyprus with great food and proper booze. Going back again for the third year in a row and my grown up kids are joining us which is great.

Only places I get a hankering for every year is Berlin and Krakow. Both are great places to chill and just watch the world to go by.
Luxor/Petra/Xian (Terracotta Army) all great places to visit for the obvious reasons.
Apart from the match, really liked Kiev - anywhere with Marlboro at 50p a pack will get my vote.

....off to Kraków in a few months for my sons stag party.

I'm off there at the end of June for a stag do. Never been before. Not sure what to expect though I've heard it isn't as cheap as you'd think there?

Was there in November mate, food and drinks was about a third to half the price of what we're paying in Liverpool and that was in the higher end bars and restaurants could do it even cheaper if you wanted. Stocked up on Biffters as well which basically meant our 4 night stay was a freebie and it's a nice place to boot. We we're there mid week though so thankfully missed the Stag and Hen parties which were just arriving as we were leaving. Auschwitz is a decent day out if a little on the grim side, the white water rafting in the summer up in the mountains looks decent as well. i'll deffo be going back to Krakow just hope it's not full of English stags when I do.
