Roberto Martinez discussion

Just out of interest did the pair of you want Pereira rather than Martinez?

Didn't want either to be honest. Just think our net could have been cast a lot further than these 2.

Don't ask me who but if they are really the best we could have wished for then we really are deteriorating as a club.

4-1 win would have flattered WBA on Saturday, we win that, and he is a hero again.

We don't have a divine right to beat every team, and WBA played there part.

Fine line between winning and losing, and for me we are not that far off.

I think it's right to say that a large portion of you jump on Martinez as you didn't want him in the first place.

The majority of you wanted Pereira which is just daft. That's why you don't choose managers for Everton, you'd ruin us.

The same people jumping all over Martinez because they want to be proven right by not wanting him in the first place is a little disappointing.

Wanting Everton to be do badly is for kopites.

I don't want Everton to do badly. I want them to be better.
But it's just not happening. I don't blame Bobby as he is in over his head. I blame the board for their selection process.

To be honest mate, i think there is quite a number who just don't think the current situation is good enough - which am sure a high percentage of the people who want Martinez to stay would probably agree.

The whole cult and plotter thing is completely baffling when we are all supporting the same team.

All the Wigan lads, Eto'o, McGeady, Traore , Cleverley, Barry, Lennon ..can't think of any more it's late here....sure vary from good to utter dross.
But do these pickups as a whole indicate to you a highly skilled Manager in the transfer market?
At best mate you would say he has done ok (and that's because of Lukaku and Deulofeu raising the average).
That's churlish in the extreme. Whatever the debate over Martinez in terms of tactics and strategy I dont think there'll be too many dissenting voices concerning his transfer activity.

The feller has done a top job and to deny it just makes you look foolish.

Agree on all points mate. While the typical internet polarising of opinion has occurred it is easy to see the points on both sides. The fractured fan base saddens me.

Wrote a load of glib about here.
