Just because Barton is hated by many doesn't mean anything he has said is wrong.

Credibility has nothing to do what he has said when the facts speak for themselves.
 


Merson and Barton condemn Martinez - I think the phrase 'by your friends shall you be known' was never more appropriate.

Think about it lads. Yeah?.....Yeah?
 
Joey Barton hit the nail on the head for me. If our star players demand to leave I don't trust Martinez one bit spending the excessive amount of cash we'd likely receive.

I think even his biggest critics will concede that Martinez makes good purchases.

I'd have 100% trust in him to spend the cash wisely. And most others would too. His record rivals Moyes - allowing for the time period differences and inflation.
 

Obviously Barton's character can seriously be called to doubt, so naturally Dave was going to be all over that, just as he when was calling Alex Ferguson and alky when his valued and professional opinion about something went against his.......see also Merson, Moyes, Collymore and any other ex pro or person actually with some knowledge of the game, unlike of course to GOT's very own Mike Parry wannabe.

Anybody who gives and opinion against Daves is either slandered or put in a category. Still, if it keeps people coming back for clicks eh!
