Roberto Martinez discussion

we are frustrating, at times going forward good to watch other times boring passing it side to side going nowhere very fast just as much, look at the posts most of last season to see how much of that we have been served up.
I would prefer to win more than we lose, settle for a win over style any day of the week.

I don't agree about the side to side thing we've mixed up our play a lot since last season where we could be accused of that. We hit it long fairly often now.

Each to their own and all that but I still think we aren't far off.

We can swap the manager for someone else- someone more conservative like Moyes? Where we set up to not lose rather than to win.

I didn't see the game but it sounds like we were by far the better team. When you dominate games as much as we do and don't even get draws from them then something's up.

You can't just keep saying it's down to luck because that avoids addressing the problem. Martinez has to get the team winning games like yesterday, it's as simple as that.

Mate it's not worth dragging these names up in some kind of weird vaulting attempt because at present every manager in the premier league and some outside it would be doing better than Martinez.
Exactly you would think we had the new sir alex the way some are reacting.
I think quite a few of the cult know coco is lost and instead of admitting it hide behind other issues

I still can't understand that Kone sub. We lost shape on the left when he came on. Every attack came down the right, so predictable and easy to defend for a team with 10 men behind the ball. Poor, dull football. Not the first time this has happened at home and I expect it won't be the last.

All the top sides are binning their manager or have binned their manager and got in quality.

Can't see why we can't or shouldn't.

We are currently 11th.

I in general cannot understand the refusal to ever play a proper winger on the left. It'seems allowed teams to focus on the right because it's the only threat

Why is that the only option though? This argument of 'you don't like Martinez? You must want Pulis/Moyes type in' is bizarre. Plenty of managers in Europe playing good balanced football allying defence and attack. Davek has created a myth though that there's Martinez's football from the gods or archaic dinosaur hoofball.

Rom was struggling to get in the game so he brings on a second striker to help support him.

It didn't work, but it was obvious what he was trying to do.

When people shout out Hughes or mclaren as potential replacements in an effort to back the manager it actually backfires on them as when you think about it they are quite likely to do a better job than Martinez anyway.

Don't agree with this mate, you would seriously swap managers with West Bromwich Norwich sunderland Newcastle Aston vile palace liverpool stoke etc......

I'm still on the fence with rm he infuriates me so much but to be fair there's a small ingredient missing from us being a top side one of which are some of the deadwood squad players kone osman and so on...
