Roberto Martinez discussion

If we did more than enough to win..surely we'd win?

The players gave a good performance but Martinez let us down by not changing our set up until after the 80th minute. He also let us down by poor organisation on set pieces.

Sometimes that just isn't the case though, is it? Sometimes you are the better team with by far the better performance, but for all of that you don't get a result. Football is a funny old game that way.

Fluke goal vs 3 or 4 we shoulda had.

Well it certainly ain't funny watching Everton.

OK mate. That's your opinion. IMO we did more than enough to win and it just was one of those days.

We played well in a loss to a Pulis side who parked the bus. We still created chances after their fluke goal. Fume on.
Yes mate, Every side that deserves to win always does

Jesus

But if you look at the course of the season, we have only won four matches at home.

It's not hard to see why people won't accept that it was "one of those games". It has been "one of those seasons." Kind of like last season.

You will struggle to find anyone who would say we didn't deserve anything yesterday. But thats not the point.

The issue is that fans go to the match, not expecting to beat the likes of Stoke, Palace, WBA or Watford anymore. Under Moyes we would turn up expecting to beat those sides.

In the past I would leave Goodison fuming after a result like that, weekend ruined. Now I half expect it. Just move onto the next home game that we don't expect to win.

Is there any wonder the atmosphere is getting toxic.

Lads let me just be clear about something. I am not for Martinez, as I'm quite certain many others amongst our fanbase aren't either. However, if he is to be replaced I want a proven winner or someone clearly a better manager such as Emery or Favre. The Moyes shouts are embarassing.

Whats he won mate

Whats he won mate

Or someone clearly a better manager, which he is. He's won the Swiss Cup with Zurich, and their first title in 25 years in 2005.
He took a struggling (relegation candidate) Gladbach side and kept them up. The next season they qualified for the CL (4th). Then they finished 8th. Last season (2014-15) they finished 3rd, and did the double over Bayern Munich.

McLaren won the Eredivisie ...

People saying we're crap to watch. Pffft

We are excellent to watch and dominate teams consistently we just need to cut out the soft goals and keep scoring like we have.

Didnt do either on Saturday mind.

Cocking annoying, but I was actually laughing in the first half.
