Roberto Martinez discussion

Congratulations mate. Great stuff ;)
I take no delight over delivering coup-de grace...however, the man at the on-field helm of Everton Football club, I would have fired weeks ago. What astonishes me, is that the fifth columnists on this forum (like that d-avek person) want to give him more time to destroy our club. That such poison is permitted to permeate this forum, quite frankly, astounds me.

No mate. Congratulations on your business successes.

The longer the season has went on, the more it looks like he's built an absolutely brilliant squad, the best ive seen (Only 22yrs old) but he has absolutely no idea how to get the best out of it, worst thing is, theres a strong argument to suggest that the spine of this brilliant squad will be off in the Summer having achieved nowhere near what their talent suggests the should.
It's so frustrating, there are positives to Martinez, massive positives, we play some brilliant football, but you just can't ignore the negatives that he keeps bringing on himself time and time again, baffling subs yesterday.

Either that, or we should all pipe down and relax because the twinkle-toed genius has got this.

Nope, you're right.

Future Evertonians will look back at the record books and wonder how so many were taken in for so long by this smooth-talking
thought I was in the Kenwright thread just then...

Concede a goal in the 14th minute

Wait until 60 mins to make a sub

Make that sub Cleverley (who shouldn't even be in the match day squad let alone starting) for Kone (who shouldn't even be an everton player)

and that's why we've got the fourth worst home record in the division

20 wins in 64 games lads

Disagree mate. Any other day we could have had about 4 in that first half. West Brom rode their luck for the 90 yesterday, but after the hour mark it was our own fault, well the managers fault with his ridiculous subs.
there's a saying : to lose one wife is bad luck, to lose two is bad management. Everton is losing too often

But we wouldn't, though.

We've not won a single league game at home where the opposition have scored first. Any decent manager in opposition sets his team up to go after us early, score (pretty inevitable against a side that has conceded the most home goals in the division) and then says 'go on then, have the ball' because statistically we are either not going to score or, if we do, we are going to concede again.

This phrase I keep seeing people use 'on another day' etc etc. How many more days do people need for the form to be self-apparent? We've had plenty of other days - it's just the same thing keeps happening and the manager has no idea what to do about it

And some fans think he will go on and manage barcelona.
At least the takeover will see the back of the clueless clown

The best crack was people 'worrying' that he was going to get the Inter job - rumours that surfaced after three wins against Stoke, Newcastle and Carlisle.

This is the biggest job he will ever get.
