So he wasn't influencing the match in a key position no more and therefore was a viable player to replace. Hence the sub not being so bad.

Serious questions should've been asked last summer...answer papers to be in by last Oct...trouble is there is nobody actually driving the ship. its on auto pilot.

OK maybe we didn't test the keeper enough but we certainly played well up until that point, and have done in a lot of games, getting lots of compliments for the way we play but if it doesn't get you results, I just don't see the point in it.
Play poorly and lose or play well and lose, still a loss.

This 'on target' thing....

What classes as on target? Does Ross' shot count as on target or not? See, if it's on target, it goes in. He hit the post though and missed, so is that off target?
Does a spawny deflection that loops in, yes we all know the type, count as on target when everyone knows it would have hit the linesman or is that off target?

Who decides?

Does '5 on target from 30+ attempts' actually mean anything or is it just bollox dreamt up by FIFA bells?

I'm confused.
