Then it wouldn't be going backwards would it? Plus there's potential for more. There never was under Moyes. Again though, what's the point comparing to Moyes? None, he stabbed us in the back and moved on. So should we.
I'm not trying to compare to Moyes just stating that we did the same with him, and as it happens with a team not meant to be as good as this one. We are going backwards under Martinez as in his first season we finished 5th, and we now find ourselves 10th and finished 11th last season, we look like Wigan just with better players.

Says who? That team with Arteta, Cahill, Lescott, Yakubu, Jags, Baines etc etc should have won something.

Are you trying to tell me that we don't have a better squad now than we did under Moyes? Yes that team should've won something and maybe Moyes did bottle it in big games but Martinez has't done anything to convince me that he knows how to play the bigger games any better.

I wonder what dirt osman must have had on both Moyes and Martinez to justify his playing time even now. I know we only only see half of what goes on, but Leon's contributions on the pitch have been limited for atleast 7 years. I get the mr. Dependable angle, but when you have the likes of Mirallas on the bench I can't understand his continued inclusion in this side.

Except continually give the best teams in the division a better game than Moyes ever did?

And that 07/08 team was fantastic, as good as this one easily but this one has more potential.

I reckon there's little between the two sides in my opinion. We have more attacking options on the bench than we did then, but we were a better more rounded side. Credit to Moyes for assembling that.

It's insane management!!!

Maybe why I find it more frustrating then, we should be far better than we are showing, that has to be down to the manager.
