Roberto Martinez discussion

For me he has to go, we have become progressively WORSE over the near 3 years he's had this squad. He doesn't seem to learn from mistakes and continuously makes poor tactical subs.
I like the man but I'm afraid that just isn't enough, for the quality of players he has at this club, to be behind the likes of Stoke, Watford, and West Ham is just unacceptable.
I don't even like him as a person I think he's arrogant and refuses to see fault in anything he does.

I am bringing cold vengeance against all those who were raving about Cleverley Supersnide

They are looking like silly billys and no mistake

The red pen of -10 would be going against them if the Negatron was still working and no mistake
what was took will be ours once again partner. and how we will dine.

Bit hard that when we finished 5th the first season, with a record number of points. You mean the last 2 seasons surely.
I'm sure thats the only thing keeping him in a job, did that help keep Brendan Rodgers at the RS? Surely we should've kicked on and improved on that? Instead we've got worse but it better players, work that one out?

He gets worse week in week out. What we're those substitutions today all about?

He's had time and he's gone backwards. Tactically clueless nothing shows me that he has a plan b. If we stick by him we will be in the same position if not worse next season. He should be doing better it's as simple as that.

Your 100% correct they just whipped in a cross, difference is they scored from theirs,we didn't.I think you saw havoc that I must have missed. And your correct, until they start giving points for the crossbar challenge during games I'll stick with the adage.

The more up date figure have us 11th for goals scored from set pieces with 11, the best are Palace and West Brom with 19 each and Swansea is bottom with 4 and Liverpool next with 6

Can't find goals conceeded broken down on the same site, but this article from a couple of weeks ago didn't have us in the bottom six.

Most set-piece goals conceded in 2015/16
Corners Direct free-kicks Free-kick situations Total
Liverpool
8 0 3 11
Swansea
6 3 1 10
Bournemouth
6 2 1 9
Newcastle
6 1 2 9
Norwich
4 0 5 9
Man City
5 0 3 8

Set peices clearly aren't a strength of ours at either end but think we have been working on them and improving in recent weeks.
