Roberto Martinez discussion

Wasn't referring to today in particular, just to things he's said about the crowd in the past. Today he just blamed luck too much for my liking. We didn't test their keeper nearly enough. No point changing a manager right now. But if we don't start next season with a new boss I'll be very disappointed.

It depends on the take over. New owners might get a new manager in?

People care and have opinions.
You might be happy with him taking us backwards

We're not really going that far backwards though are we mate? We're "around" where Moyes would be. He would also have a late run of good results each year to keep us topped up, we would usually be awful up to Xmas.

Over our history, we're performing way, way above average.

I'm not happy but what do you want him to do other pick the ball up and put it in their net? There's 11 players on the pitch and not one of them could manage it! 3 more came on and none of them could either!!!

Got it completely wrong with those subs, that killed our chance when we were still in the game.

Outside that it was more unlucky than anything, battering the post, shooting from distance and poor performances from players like Lukaku and Barkley.

The Plotters always seemed a bit anti-Everton to me, I mean they had to hope for bad results to gain traction, The Cults life blood is Everton wins, it felt dirty being a Plotter, I honestly dont how the real Plotters sleep at night.

Today the Plotters are rejoicing and they have indeed gained a great victory, but whats the prize? Where is the honour in Everton defeat? It makes my skin crawl.

You're gonna fit right in.

IF you believe that.

*cries

We've seen this film last season though. It's easier to perform now that there's no pressure on us whatsoever. If he does alright between now and the end of the season, do we give him the opportunity to cock up for a third season in a row?

Unless he wins the cup, but it will take a miracle
We were utterly terrible full stop last season. This season we've been defensively poor but good going forward. The defense looks to have been righted since the turn of the year. I can see the positives in what he's done but there needs to be that consistency, particularly at home.
The key to his success at Everton is sorting out our home form.

But he's proven he can get us playing very well and getting very good results.

Thing is, we don't even have to play well to get into Europe this season, the league is shocking. That highlights how frustrating our season has been too. But 13 games is a massive amount of points available in this league.

Just leave it till May.

Jesus! He had a good season, it's long gone mate, let it go. We have been basically bang average or poor for the amount of time I've already quoted.

I admire your durability and hope that we might just do well eventually, but like I said, there are zero signs of that happening.

We've just lost to Swansea and west Brom at home, we lost at home to Sunderland last season, we scraped a draw against Watford and palace with the latter having lost the previous 2 against them at home before that.

1 good season, appalling since...Fact!
