So why didn't we change shape, play quicker with two wingers and drag them out of position, playing more of the give and go passes that looked to open them up every time we played one every 15 minutes?

There's a right way to play against a team like that - passing around like tits in front of them and ballooning over from distance or on your wrong foot isn't it.

I think we did try all that mate to be honest.

It didn't work this time. Credit to West Brom for outstanding defence.

I'd be a lot more concerned if they out played us but it was us with all the chances really.

Put the flaming torches down you utter quims.

Today was down to poor finishing and luck.

Am I furious? Possibly a little but to blame Martinez for that is just plain silly.

Dunno mate, taking off Lennon was a bit mental, as was bringing on Kone they way his form is right now

and why in a game like that keep McCarthy and Barry both on for practically the whole game

First half we were very unlucky. Second half was just shocking. Roberto made disgraceful subs. And he was done for the second straight season by Pulis.

If a couple of those blocked shots had travelled a few more feet they would have been goals mate.
Fine margins and all that, absolutely brilliant defensive performance to West Brom.

A Barkley trademark shot that's never beating the first man is a poor decision and shouldn't pad stats. The Barry shot that was heading in and was blocked about 6yds away and about 4 from goal is a legit shot.

Martinez is the manager, we have just lost at home again, this time to west Brom after recently losing for the first time ever to Swansea.

When do results become unacceptable?

When we start winning more games I suppose mate.

I can see they're working hard on that, I'm sure everyone else can. Today just wasn't our day.

not a question of passing. We dominated, created more than enough chances to swamp them, had more than enough shots to sink them and limited them at the back.

At the end of the day we couldn't get the damn ball over the line. Not a problem with passing etc.. it was a problem sticking the damn ball in the back of the damn net.

We had 90 minutes to do it and Coudnt we can see the pattern of the game the manager should. We losing all the time as home to utter joke of sides. But hey ho pass pass pass

I don't think football or Everton are for you if you hinge your mental well being on them every weekend.

One day you will come to the realisation that our manager deserves criticism not blind praise. Today is not that day.
