Roberto Martinez discussion

Poor decision making from Martinez. Around the 65th minute mark it was quite clear we were struggling to break them down. He needed to get McCarthy off the pitch earlier in place of Del/Kone. Madness to bring Lennon off too.

Our managers style of play lead to a tonne of chances created against a team that has conceded less than everyone except Arsenal. We hit the post twice and had two cleared off the line in the first half then in the second we hit everything over the bar. Kone was brought on to try and bring Rom into the game Geri was brought on as although Lennon was playing great we needed to be more direct and get more balls in the box and Osman was brought on for McCarthy as we didn't need to pressure them we needed to play a ball in behind them. Not Roberto's fault.

When you're down 1-0 and actually dominating the game, you do not bring on Arouna Kone for Tom Cleverley. Kevin Mirallas- maybe. Del on the left- worth a shot. But never do you bring on Arouna Kone.

Is it knee-jerking if I've been saying the same for 20 months regardless of performance.

I don't actively want Martinez out, I just don't think he is getting the most out of the squad. To me this is the job of the manager.

I can't be bothered with any of this knee jerk. I'm as frustrated as any fan right now but we created plenty of chances and should have scored.
It was only because of a perfect defensive performance from West Brom added to a bit of luck that they got away with any points at all.
Not on the manager this, sometimes football is football and the better team (by far I might add), doesn't win.

Just need to continue in the vein of these recent performances and keep bagging wins.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahha, comedy gold.
