Would you rather he was rushed in, was crap and it knocked his confidence or would you rather he came in when he's adapted a little bit and got some fitness behind him.

I posted something a couple of days ago and it was just a small paragraph with Martinez saying he would have to be checked on Friday to see if he can make the squad.

I gathered from that he's not match fit enough to take the place of a Kone on the bench yet.

Can only presume Niasse is not considered fit enough for match action yet which is fair enough. No point rushing the lad and him struggling or picking up an injury.

He gets match fit by playing in behind closed doors friendlys and practice games at FF.

Not by playing in the hardest league in the world after 2 months out.

TFF, Martinez did say that playing minutes in the games would be part of his fitness programme.
Maybe, just maybe he's looked absolutely mince in training!?
