I think some may underestimate the severity of his injury and the length of recovery.
I compare it to the injury that Aaron Ramsey got against Stoke. It took him a couple of years at least to get back to his very best and I think Oviedo may be similar.
At last he seems to be regaining the form he was showing at the time of his injury.
It also lays down a challenge to Leighton Baines and that is good .

I'll be honest, I'm not a Toffee (I've been a Gunner for some 15 years), but I'm Costa Rican and a Saprissista (Bryan's old club). I've seen how you lot have supported Bryan through his time on the bench, his injuries and his long path back to form. I wanted to send you a really heartfelt THANK YOU. Everyone loves Bryan here, and it is amazing to see how you love him, too.
You are a magical, outstanding club. Most CR PL fans go for the title-contending clubs, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that every football fan in this country respects and admires Everton FC, and we are always rooting for you.

Only heard it now. Well in Bryan. Any way we can fit in three leftbacks in our system from next season on? Like all three of them.
Suppose it can be justified if 1 or 2 of them can be classed as covering the left wing also. That would sadly mean jibbing off Kone but it might be a sacrifice worth making.
