My suggestion for a loan to another league is what's needed. It could give him the confidence to get his head up more and take a bit of perspective. He dives in too much at the moment.

Seeing as you've mentioned Barry thought I'd say that Besic might get to be 1/4 the player Barry was and maybe 1/2 the player he currently is.

How much consistency does he need to show before he's good in your eyes? The above excuses have been used for awhile now. Does he need an entire season where he is able to shut down world class players before he's ready? You know that's not possible for any player right? He'd have to be best player on the planet and as much as i like him he's obviously not. So he shut down Messi and it's "just 1 game". Then he shuts down Bale, "just 1 game". He comes in and dominates City and Tottenham and pretty much same excuses. So again, does he need a season of dominating best teams to be good enough in your eyes? Seems quite unfair as there are quite a few others who don't show anything near Besic's level yet nobody is saying they should be in Scotland and the like.

If little Mo had rocked up to Bellefield in the mid-80s Howard Kendall would have said "lad you'll need to put some meat on those bones. You might make it but I'll send you out to my mate at Burnley to give you a few games. I've already got Alan Harper to fill in as a decent journeyman"

Until there's some consistency he's not in my sight line.

I don't play FIFA mate, I am in my 40's, have been around football all my life and can tell you for sure, that some of the ability and drive that he showed in January lifted the side completely.

Stop stereotyping people, it doesnt work.

Also, don't think Peter Reid was much of a muscleman when he played for Kendall.
