I would positively welcome it.
EFC without Billy around the place would be sad IMO.
When I lived in London in the 80s he often travelled up from Euston on the ESCLA train when we played at home or around the north west.
Whatever else about his tenure as Everton honcho, Bill paid his dues as a fan, just like the rest of us.
I will shed a tear for the passing of an era when this takeover goes through, as seems inevitable now.
But then I will welcome the new people and hope we can become a force again under their stewardship
