GOT Wrestle Fest Fan Thread

@Mikey_Fitzgerald will be crying his actual eyes out right now.

I'm really not that arsed by this news.

It's very Everton though!

I'm actually upbeat

He had a truly amazing career and now he gets to enjoy retirement

It wasn't worth risking his health over

Truly one of the best wrestlers I've ever seen live

Him Vs Regal at the Echo Arena was all kinds of boss

He'll be wrestling on the independents again within a year. He asked for a release from WWE a while back since they won't clear him to wrestle but they said no. He'll disappear for a few months and return to ROH as Bryan Danielson. He's said more then once that he felt he was capable of working again but WWE won't take any chances, well the independent circuit will be a lot less interested in his welfare. For the record I do think he should retire but since the wrestling business is really all he knows I very much doubt he'll be able to just walk away from it.

Sad news....but yeah glad he's getting out before he did more damage to himself....not worth it when the company never really appreciated him anyways....
Financially I'm sure he's done pretty well, and there's no doubt a job for life with wwe if he wants (trainer, commentator, network show)....

A once in a generation talent - like a modern day Backlund.

A massive shame but the run he had was fairytale like stuff that he couldn't have dreamed of before he joined. It went to show that, shock horror, wrestling fans like wrestling along with the entertainment aspect.

Huh? So you'd collect them even now, as a fully grown adult?

Do you have a girlfriend mate? And by girlfriend I don't mean a random girl online where you've both agreed to change Facebook statuses to say 'in a relationship' despite never having met. Or one that requires inflating.

I don't have one at present, every girl I've been out with has never been all that arsed that I watch wrestling. It really, really pisses me off that people like you and Moomin think its ok to try and make wrestling fans feel like they should be ashamed to be watching it no matter their age. I have mates that i grew up with through school and whenever we meet up at EFC games, the convo usually turns to wrestling. Same goes with mates in work and so forth. I've watched wrestling for 26 years and never been ashamed once to admit that
