Tim Howard

He's an arsehole. A keeper with very good shot stopping who could have been very well regarded overall has gotten far too big for his boots. In interviews he comes across as an arrogant freak and that arrogance is totally misplaced. Will not be remembered ten years from now and that's largely down to his own actions.

Bin him off now.

Which is a shame, he gave us some good service over the years, but whenever I picture him I only see him clapping the GSE like a bell.

bye bye Tim. You were, for a few years, a very good signing....but you were made to look better by the lower overall quality of keepers in the league. Move on with dignity....now please

Can we not take him down to the local Chinese takeaway and ask them to help us flog him to the Chinese Super League?

Given the fascination with martial arts in that part of the world they will surely think Howard's star jumps alone are worth an extra few quid!

....I think Robles has a genuine claim to be no1 but that's it. In my opinion, Howard has been a fine signing, a very useful goalkeeper and good value for money. Time might have caught up with TH but let's not forget how decent he's been.
This, much like Neville and Distin he is being turned on because he is now not up to it. Not his fault he keeps getting picked. Was a very good signing when he first came and been good value for money over the years.

Agree he was decent for a good few years, but he's well past his best now, so at a top club like EFC, time to say goodbye. I hope he never keeps goal for us again.

Howard has been a good servant and a good goalkeeper for EFC.
His time has gone and he will be replaced but he gets my respect for the service he has given our club.

This but unfortunately his behaviour in interviews and elsewhere off the pitch has left a sour taste in my mouth.

I wish him well in his future but a little bit of humility is required in all of us at some stages of our lives.

Any mention of how long Howard's likely to be out? I'm still trying to judge if it's a tactical removal from the team or if he's actually injured.
