I do take exception to your implication that i would ever cheer for us to lose. ever.

I am glad 3 points were had. I am pleased Joel played well enough and the defense only had a couple of errors that were not capitalized but to be honest, I dont really care who we had in goal.

I have liked Howard and obviously I have a bias that wants him to do well and be the hero. That makes sense and it isnt unreasonable to defend his qualities that he has. It isnt unreasonable to admit his play has diminished. Somewhere .. (page 1) in this thread people went from appreciating a player who has been with the club for almost a decade to just vitriol. That is unreasonable. It is also unreasonable to blame him as all the problem with current team form. 10 others players on that pitch. Basically, use some common sense about the player.

ALthough I'm not agreeing wholeheartedly with you , That was actually well reasoned and quite true. If the defence was also holding it's own, Howard wouldn't have quite so much to do. He has deffo lost his mojo but our goals against are certainly not only on him.

Our defence actually looked more confident at the back with Robles

I also agree that with a flappy goalkeeper the defence are going to be more edgy. I just find it a shame that Howard has gone on as long as he has, Simply because the longer he stays and declines the less quality performances of old are remembered.
