Roberto Martinez discussion

We won because we didn't let any goals in. We made mistakes but we didn't do the typical "LOL WE SUCK AT EVERYTHING" mistake that have become a trademark for EFC. We should almost always be in the game offensively because of the talent we have on that side of the ball, but Stones is a liability as long as he DERPS in the back. He will get better at reading these situations, but I think it was good for the team that he was benched last night.

Was absolutely fuming before Carlisle game and said i'll pull my support if we lose to them and Magpies. Machiavellian Operator showed that he's worthy. Thanks Bobby.

Onwards n Upwards Everton.

*In Martinez we trust*

3-0 against high spending relegation fodder. Game still in balance for most of the night, personally can't read anything to radical into the night apart from useful confidence booster..

Every time he talks I wish we'd have Unsworth or someone care-take to the end of the season. RM's been a failed cup gamble for me. Time to move on.

A wins a win.

The most outspoken of those against the manager - our friend @ianefc - asked for wins.

You got one. We got one.

We should be happy.

We need more. Another on saturday would be great.

hard to tell with the levels of vitriol on this subject...on both sides...also we need a sarcastic and an Ironic font
Ha! agreed!

I have always genuinely thought it was just a bit of fun. 'The Cult v The Plotters'. @davek and his gift for theatrics have had me howling many a time!

IF we beat Stoke on Saturday we could be 7th depending on RS score before Southampton kick off

Decent chance of us moving to 7th if we win actually, considering the fixtures of the teams around us. Then after that our prem games are West brom, villa, West ham and Sunderland.

Who knows...

Not going overboard and neither should anybody else. Our last 4 wins in the league have been against the bottom 3 teams in the league.

Until we manage to beat a side outside of the bottom 3 he is still yet to prove anything to me, other than he has an eye for a good young player.

Hopefully last night will lift everybody and we can carry that into a decent performance and more importantly 3 points at Stoke.

With this team I've learned to never bother looking at where we COULD be because, invariably, we wont. Over the last 2 years its been 'man, with a win here and another there, we could be..' and we wind up drawing/losing.
