Leon Osman

I personally think he kept the ball, defended quite well when he needed to and linked Baines and Barkley nicely.

I'm yet to see the Fernandinho goal again though, was it that bad @Walken?

I actually think he played well tonight.

But I also think, despite injuries, starting Leon Osman at his age in arguably our biggest game for four years is a worry.

Yeah i thought he was OK, and in the last game against City, am sure if Besic was fit we might not have seen him but either way didn't let us down.

Same here, I thought he did a lot of good things tonight and looked like he was arsed.
If he was at fault tracking back for their first goal then he's not the only one to have been at fault in that way this season.

Some people seem to make their minds up how good / poor someone's going to be before a ball's been kicked and can't remove the blinkers.

It does say something about our squad though.

It was cowardly move by martinez playing him tonight. If he was asked why, he'd spout the 'experience' line like he does with Howard (The only experience he has is losing big games). When a man looks like hes blowing out of his backside after 15 minutes he should be done with football let alone Premier League. I really honestly can't see at all what he brings to the team. Whatever creativity he had years ago has gone, as he can not keep up with the play. Seriously slows down every single attack we have.
