given the dogs abuse he gets for goals that aren't even his fault I doubt that.

Not saying he's perfect or even adequate, just that there it a lot of enthusiastic overexaggeration when it comes to quite a few posters opinions of how bad he he is.

See page one of this thread. Most dispute the 2 goals were his direct issue and more a result of poor defending.

There have definitely been other examples.
...And he has made some huge errors costing goals too. He is not without blame.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present page 1 of this thread. Pretty easy to prove this point. The whole squad, save Kone, was awful in that match and you certainly can't say the two goals were on TH

I remember when Martinez first came to the club and he said in an interview that he would like the keeper to play out from the back instead of hoofing it and loosing possession in a 50/50 ariel duel, I don't think he had any idea how terrible Howard is at playing football, he looks in a blind panic every time a ball is passed to him and just slice thumps it, usually out for a throw.
