lol i knew the answer.

My point was, tonights game is pretty much easier than the final will be, so as much as we could be optimistic at getting there, it's going to be far harder to beat them than city at the etihad.

In actual proper trophy finals they have the upper hand with 3 wins to none.

We've drawn and beaten them at Wembley in the charity shield though.

All i meant by it mate was that getting to the cup final is far more a daunting prospect than anything else we could have thrown at us. Stoke through and i'd be personally buzzing at the prosepct of winning the cup, but now it's liverpool it is comparable to playing city tonight with 9 men. Not impossible but going to take a hell of a lot both physically and mentally to win.

the were so lucky last night but we could learn a thing or 2 by the way they got behind their team after going 1-0 down, they were playing awful, misplacing passes but the crowd kept singing their names...who knows how much of a factor that was in them getting through.
I know circumstances are different for us but Howard getting ironic cheers when he catches the ball aint going to help him save the next shot or put in the next good performance

Stoke are the harder team.

IF we get there, LFC won't be difficult to face, our problem will be ourselves and the officials.

but if the problem is ourselves then it makes the game much harder. Can we beat stoke? yes we can, to be fair if the defence hadn't decided they cousln't be arsed then we were 3-1 up with 15 minutes to go.

Can we beat city? we already have done once this month

can we beat liverpool? pur derby wins even over the past 10 years suggest that will be tougher than the others.
