ErmmBalls to it, we largely have never won the league cup because they have beaten us in the vital stages.
Have we ever beaten them in a final? Have they ever beaten us in a final?

Been saying it from the start their names on this cup. My only hope is that the large wembly pitch kills their high tempo pressing game. Although when did they ever need to play well to win. If they do go on an win it the rubbish about klopp and them being "back" will be vomit inducing.
Wembley: 105m length, 68m widthGenuine question.
Is the actual pitch at Wembley bigger than at either Goodison or The Pit?
lol i knew the answer.Sweet, sweet, naive boy
To my knowledge 2 fa cup finals and 1 milk cup final that's 3no

In actual proper trophy finals they have the upper hand with 3 wins to none.Have we ever beaten them in a final? Have they ever beaten us in a final?
All i meant by it mate was that getting to the cup final is far more a daunting prospect than anything else we could have thrown at us. Stoke through and i'd be personally buzzing at the prosepct of winning the cup, but now it's liverpool it is comparable to playing city tonight with 9 men. Not impossible but going to take a hell of a lot both physically and mentally to win.In actual proper trophy finals they have the upper hand with 3 wins to none.
We've drawn and beaten them at Wembley in the charity shield though.

but if the problem is ourselves then it makes the game much harder. Can we beat stoke? yes we can, to be fair if the defence hadn't decided they cousln't be arsed then we were 3-1 up with 15 minutes to go.Stoke are the harder team.
IF we get there, LFC won't be difficult to face, our problem will be ourselves and the officials.
