Mid-Atlantic, Virginia. I looked the video up on YouTube and it was shot about an hour west of Washington, DC. We have more snow in 24 hours than we usually do in a year.

Yeah, I was kinda surprised that the university where I teach (James Madison) is closed today. I actually managed to get into the office yesterday to do some work, and things on campus were pretty cleared up (though the streets in the town were still a huge mess). But then I learned that many of the student's apartment complexes are completely covered with snow, to the point that no one can get out at all. So perhaps another day for plowing/shoveling/clearing is best.

I've been to that part of the USA as it happens but didn't realise the weather could be like that!
