Didn't realise how old he was , he was quality on talksport and never held back! Shame.

Always enjoyed Jack Bannister in his TV work on the Beeb back in the day before SKY, very knowledgeable and had done the hard yards as a bowler, not some public school toff who smacked tired bowlers around and then missed the next match because of their business commitments. Became something of a sporting trade unionist upon retirement, pushing in his role as PCA Chairman for better pay and contracts for cricketers.
