He could easily fill in at fullback on either flank and provide cover in centre midfield. Can't think of any better sub during this era, Kendall must have loved him and his ability to adapt. Hate to pish on ya chips mate but Alan Harper was truly dreadful , he really was that bad .
Stuck around as Kendall give him a bit of game time here & there , wouldnt get a game anywhere else.
 
Is there any sources that are truthful a bout him joining WHU, as I just read we agreed a deal that would rise to 5 million if that's true I'm over the moon we lost out, 3 million total should have been tops for a player unproven at PL level.

Do any of you stop to think your life would be better served than being bi-polar on every single twitter or newspaper rumour you hear.

If byram is or is not coming, why don't you just wait until the official news and then start moaning about. Let's be honest, if he's chosen west ham it's because they have that hideous jenkinson at RB, whereas we have one of the best in the league. If he goes there for first team football, fair play.

Doesn't mean he thinks they're better than us, actually means the opposite. But why worry about it before you know what's happening and why get so high on the ceiling when it looks like it may happen?

As for versatile players Steve Watson was much better than a Harper, Watson could play In most positions and was generally a decent player.

I'm just worried if we do buy him, I just don't think we need him and would rather money spent elsewhere.
