I'd really like to see Whyte vs Haye, winner faces Joshua

I dont think Whyte is in the same caliber as Haye, but I think a decent performance against him would do far better for his carrear than a win against another no mark.

In my eyes Whyte wont ever make a dent in the division... As poor as it is. The key to his success is to stay as relevant as possible for as long as possible.

Haye needs this Joshua fight a lot more than Joshua needs it... But money talks i guess!

I think the only think we can take from this is that di mori is gash, I like Haye and have no problems with this as a fight to return, but this was watching two guys from different leagues, haye just waiting for him to throw off the ropes before jumping on him to finish him, is was painfully obvious, but at the end of the day having an active haye in the division is a good thing

Whyte is no bum, he nearly knocked out joshua with that left hook, if he'd have connected with one of the 2-3 swings he threw after that, he would've. I think Haye would be too quick, too elusive and too good for Whyte but it would be no certainty at all, Whyte is a threat. Why does Haye need Joshua more than he needs Haye? If Haye doesn't get the AJ fight, there's plenty of other fights for him, Joshua needs another 2-3 tests before he fights anybody of the Fury/Haye calibre, if he fought either of those in his next fight, he'd lose.

You make some good points! But I think we're miles apart in our opinion!
Firstly I think Joshua got wobbled from his own aggressiveness, not from Whytes ability. The fact he couldn't finish the job when he was rocked shows more to me than the one that connected. The skill difference is huge, and as you said, I think Joshua needs a few more fights before hes at the standard and I think he showed he was a cut above Whyte in all but the one round. For that reason I think Haye v Whyte would be an absolute no brainer.

I don't think there's a buzz around Haye anymore. After the shoulder injury and poor performance against Wladimir Klitschko (and the broken toe) and the fact he's been on the shelf for so long... I just don't see the attraction. Where as Joshua sells fights, is exciting and is yet to put out a bad performance. It's been 6 years since Valuev, and the only thing of note he's really done since was make a gang rape joke.

The fact his latest fight was on Dave seals it for me. It's another example of a fighter who should have stayed retired. Plus I really can't listen to him say 'Punch Power constantly for another fight promo.

Each to their own opinion! But I don't even think a left right from Haye would change my mind.
