It all feels a bit liverpool with Suarez for me, take Lukaku out the team would the cracks be massively exposed? Our defence stops us from winning most games but having the leagues top scorer has turned alot of potential losses into draws.

We won't get as good a replacement in without European football so unless the manager peddles Howard and sorts out the defence I think next season we'll be found out, like Rodgers when they couldn't score 4 every game when suarez went and Sturridge became perma crocked.

Fully agree Martinez is a gambler time has proven that he is a bad one more often than not but still he takes chances.

Two Positions in footbal that matter most are centre fireworks & goalkeeper he choose to sort one out as he thought Tim could tide us over until we could afford to replace him but that hasn't worked & has cost us he should be playing Robles 100% but anyone who believes that given more to spend during any of the last few transfer windows Martinez wouldn't of singed a top goalkeeper is deluded. Martinez Knows Tim is holding us back he just didn't replace him early enough as there were more pressing matters.

He also knows a fully fit Tim on the bench with Robles starting will make Tim poisonous at the club ala distin he needs to be removed from the building when he goes thinks he is the leader etc he is a fraud & I will never forgive hiM for the cup final my nan could of saved lamprds lomg range nice height lame shot

I think that sums it up perfectly on the GK front. A mess has been made and it can't be fixed quick enough. I agree when you say TH could be a problem if he's left out completely. But Martinez needs to make this decision. I think it'll be the summer now. But it should have been last summer. It's cost us points.

That said, we have Robles in the cups and I'm more concerned with them than getting a pat on the head as a best of the rest club in the league.

A team playing champions league football. The inevitable leagues top scorer won't be staying at a bottom half side unless he's suddenly become a bigger blue than Rooney (and even he buggered off)

Agree but in the summer distin & Alcatraz were correctly deemed as
Surplus to requirements. This meant a
Centre half WAs non negotiable so we signed mori who has been a resounding Success imagine we didn't Galloway would have doublE figures at center half which is a scary thought unless of course we could of got a first team ready decent centre half on a free & signed loris karius, Timmo horn or begovic.

It like you need a roof on your house & new Windows you get the a new roof as its leaking & do the Windows next year simply because there old & sh*t
