You're probably right, though it wouldn't have been the case when we were getting 70,000 plus gates. I was there the night we
played Charlton in the fog in front of 74,000 odd.

Obviously a misprint in my book 'Everton - A Complete Record'.

Still a pathetic crowd in the period of our greatest success, and sub 30,000 crowds were quite common, unless they were
all misprints. Not likely, though, is it? I mean 25,843 v Man Utd Sep't '86.
