Not going to make it for us I don't think,does anyone think we'd see a time when the fella would get a 10+ game run ?.
without knowing anything,I wonder if he actually helps himself in his career,by sticking with the training regime in his daily life,and striving to be fit and available to us,does he really "burst a gut" to get in the side.must be tough actually to get back into contention after such a long time out injured,I wonder if the fight is still there ?.

He's surplus to requirements, it's as simple as that. He's behind Barry, McCarthy, Besic, Cleverley and maybe even Barkley in the CM pecking order.

Decent player, but put him in the Danny Williamson / Slaven Bilic file, for players who stole a wage off the club.

.....not quite, if I remember rightly those two came at a cost. Gibson is a long way from providing value for money but he did have a reasonable run during which we rarely lost a game. As well as the injuries he further blotted his copybook with off field antics and I think we dodged a bullet not giving him another contract.

Gibson is a busted flush and is so far down the midfield pecking order now as to be best gone - for his sake and the benefit of reducing our wage bill.
