Thought the stick he's been getting from lower G is no good for anyone. Supporting him is more productive.

We get it lads. You hate him and dont want him to play for us again but surely to god you cant be happy with the people booing him?! I've seen loads of players for us down the years who i couldnt stand but you know what? I never booed them, not out of some deluded sense of loyalty but common sense. Your not going to make him better by booing nor is he going to be dropped based on the booing. When Joel gets a game for the cups next week i hope the fans who still support Howard behave with a little more dignety then some of the one's who hate him have.

Hate is a strong word. I hate his crapness, and the 15 points he costs us per season, not him personally.

Maybe you dont personally but the rage and abuse i've seen aimed at him both at the match and online from a good number of blues has been well beyond anything that can be justifed. Its become a personal by some who seam to want him to cock up just so they can slaugter him. I dont rate Joel at all but i'll support him when he plays for us regardless.

Mocking and booing him does nobody any good and I'd never boo a player, ever.

But he's not helped himself the way he's reacted, and his words last week in the press were disrespectful to the support, he basically said none of the fans are pro's so their opinion does not matter, you can continue to buy tickets and pay his wages ofcourse, but you are not allowed an opinion with that ticket.

Built a rod for his own back there did Howard, he should have took it on the chin and played better to prove a point.

His kicking is absolutely atrocious. Theres another thing that Joel is better than him at.

Kane and Lamela stuck to Funes Mori & Stones meaning the short option wasn't there, meaning we had to go long, time and time again his kicks either failed to make it past halfway or were aimed at Lennon & Deulofeu, the smallest players on the pitch!

Yeah. Like I've said all along its his biggest test as a manger, he'll play his strongest available line up for this, hence Jags and Deulofeu on the bench yesterday.

The incident in the first half were idiots in the Gwladys St were abusing him while Spurs were lining up a free kick was just pathetic.

Doug he is a international Keeper he should ignore it, if you call that stick you should have seen in it in the 1960's, and 1970's when stood on the terracing disappointed fans could get so close to the players, they ignored it Doug and proved they could do it perhaps why Tim responds making the situation worse is that he can't anymore?????

For what it's worth, in my opinion Tim Howard is past his best as a Premiership quality goalie and I hope we are seriously looking for the right replacement for the summer is Joel Robles is not going to get the chance to claim the role for himself.

That said, barracking of our own players in the way TH got it yesterday is bang out of order.

Did we behave like that in the darkest days of the relegation worries - not that I recall.
Sure, we reacted with hurling cushions from the stands etc, but that was more an overall complaint about situations rather than targetted abuse of individuals.

TH might not be everybody's favourite right now, but while he's getting the start - the managers call - supporters ideally should (try to) support.

It was when he caught the cross and turned round to have a go instead getting on with it. Missed the one with the free kick. Both incidents he needs to get on with things instead of alienating even more fans

He should rise above it end of if it was racial then that's different, if its obscene comments that's also different, all players do not respond back to the crowd as it makes it worse - if its just them sounding off over his poor form as they pay their money - then he should just ignore it , and prove them wrong!
I am not a big fan of his over the last 18 months as I feel he is way past his best - the Manager thinks otherwise so is it is fault maybe!
