You havent posted any facts. Just lies to fit your agenda.

You claim the squad Moyes left was top notch...thats simply not true and any "fan" can name the squad from a couple of years ago....not doing so to backup your point shows your know its just lies youre spouting.

So many posts slating martinez based on nothing but lies....

Your upside down posting is weird.
Maybe we can't be bothered to do the homework you set us but we are right, the facts prove it

Of course its far better...here is where we are now

GK-- ??? /???
LB -- Baines / Garbutt
LCB -- Jagielka /Mori /Galloway
RCB -- Stones / Browning / Holgate(?)
RB -- Coleman / Pennington
DM -- Barry / McCarthy / Besic
CM -- ??? / Cleverley
AM -- Barkley / ???
LW -- ??? / ???
CF -- Lukaku / ???
RW -- Deulofeu / Lennon

Pennington and Browning we dont know yet and Holgate seems to be the next to come through.

This omits:
Howard -- Rubbish
Robles -- signed as backup
Hibbert -- finished
Oviedo -- perma crocked
Gibson -- where to start with him
Pienaar - finished
Kone -- poor signing
Mirallas --out the door
Naismith -- out the door
McAleny -- out the door
McGeady-- poor signing

Quite clearly 3 first eleven starters need signing and 4 players to compete with them...the 3 players are in crucial positions.

Now, in the next 2 windows if he hasnt improved these areas then i'll worry but at the moment its quite obvious hes improved the quality of the squad and first eleven considerably.

Moyes left a totally unbalanced squad with some terrible players who Martinez has been gradually replacing window on window.

6 of Martinez's first choice 11 are Moyes' players. He's had five transfer windows and you are identifying three first team positions and 4 sub roles that need filling. What's he been doing? I don't understand the point you are trying to make. Of course we have a better squad now, we spent 30 mill on Lukaku FFS plus Stones and Barkley were left for him. He's augmented it nicely due to the purse strings loosening and no requirement to sell our top players.

Pointing out that Moyes' squad didn't have strength in depth? No ones disagreeing with you. Find me a 22 man squad assembled on a negative net spend with first team quality in all 22 players. Doesn't exist.

You still rambling on oddball.
Go and have a lie down.
Facts are there deal with it

I think most of us would prefer to find a balance mate. I do love the attacking style but the defence makes me tear my hair out. If we find balance what a difference it will make. Whether RM can do this the jury is out.

In over 12 months he hasn't found that balance through numerous TX windows and a couple of additions. That's what scares me mate. Will it be the same in another 12 months, with the same people goin'...

'Yes, so what we're 13th again, but nevermind that though, have you SEEN us going forward, it's breathtaking...'

My youngest thinks boxing is basically 'I'm gonna hit you as many times as I can and hope you don't hit me as much before the bell goes'.

That seems to be how BOB manages at the moment. Difference is my youngest is 4 and he'll learn.

Bob's 40 and seemingly learnt NOTHING from the WIGAN days.

Gies back to what you identified earlier mate. Basic schism between personality types.

@davek I really want Bob to win, I really do. I want him to succeed and be boss and win trophies. But I'll keep repeating this.

Against Bournemouth, Palace, Norwich, Stoke and Leicester we should have got 13/15 points. I was at the Palace game, I don't know how we didn't win 5-1.

We have won 3. We dropped 8 points from winning positions. If we had got eh 13/15 our play deserved we would be level with City. Not amazing peformances, not superhuman. Just closing out games we should close out. No improvement.

Now Barkley/Del/Rom are playing well but Stones/FM are suffering with the lack of CM cover. If we are 3-2 up against a side that has recently pasted Utd and City I'm not being a blert when I say I would like the manager to make a defensive substitution and protect our lead, and close down players.

The next games are important but being Everton they are our toughest ones.

So can I say kind of in kind of out. Not knee jerking, not head in the sand. Kneeing sand? (Not jerking head)

1-- Clearly he will address the keeper issue, the left wing issue and centre mid issues. He cant change players en masse.

2-- We havent played with 2 DMs for ages.

3-- You are saying Mori is useless?!?!

4-- Clearly he needs to sign 3 first 11 players and 4 squad players. Not easy to do all at once when there are 11 others who need selling or contracts expiring.

I think by this summer he will have brought in at least 4 of these 7 players....it will be almost comical to compare the turnaround in quality then.

Ah, thanks very much Thai Terroriser Zatty.

So in 2 and a half seasons, he's failed to;

Sort the goalkeeper out, pretty crucial position
Do better at LB than the ones already in situ
Bring in one utterly useless player and a youngster as backup to our senior CB
Not bring in a senior CB of any note (Alcaraz was his first attempt... wow)
We play with two DMs as you well know, and to shoe-horn the average Cleverley into the team he keeps dropping Ross Barkley into this position to accommodate him, nullifying his attacking capability. Cleverley goes off, Ross gets further forward, sets up the third. Not complicated.
Completely failed to solve the left side of midfield - despite trying McGeady, Kone, Naismith, Barkley, Cleverley etc out there.
He's got one functioning CF and thank god he's as good as Lukaku is.

'Much better'.

Are they not FIRST ELEVEN players?

What about the SQUAD players backing them up...

Youre naming the BEST PLAYERS...how you name Stones and Barkley there is pretty odd as Moyes never played them.

He never played a lot of the dross you mentioned in your list either. Let's not move the goalposts, you want to discuss the squad as a whole, they're a part of it. Must be such a wrench for the Moyes haters that the old hoof ball dinosaur nurtured Barkley, signed Stones, and created the best modern full back pairing in the prem. Just doesn't fit the agenda does it, bummer.

It worries me as well. I just see a better side than last year, we are in games and scoring goals, in that respect we have progressed.

Let's face it the football is 100% better than last year but the results aren't following. I think he has swung the pendulum too far the other way, I'm hoping it clicks but it has to improve soon.

Bet its great on your planet dude

It a all about balance, when Moyes was in charge our games were never described as exciting, now Roberto at the helm ,games are .Most pundits wax about Evertons play and how exciting to watch we are.I for one would be glad if it was like watching two coats of paint dry as long as we one something!

Squad players....not first choice.

The squad he left was overall awful.

Hold on one sec there lad, i by no means want Moyes back but you've failed to mention Jagielka (Club Captain), Seamus Coleman (best Right Wing Back in the league), Baines (has been on of the if not THE best LB in the league for quite some time). So if you're going to point out every bad play he left us with, then its only correct to mention the good ones too.

1. Hasn't managed to address those issues yet, and the first one is absolutely killing us.

2. We play with two deep lying midfielders. You might not see them both as one of them is in his 30s.

3. Oh good lord yes.

4. So he just needs 7 players to turn it around does he. Just the seven. 'Subtle changes' again.

1. You are

2. Utterly mental

3. LOL rar

4. At you.

Robles
Kone
McGeady

All poor signings. But could he sign first eleven players with the money--unlikely and a gamble.

Hes been stuck with
Howard
Hibbert
Oviedo
Osman
Pienaar
Gibson
Etc etc

No one in their right mind would buy them.
