Well no, Mr Esk said he felt Rom was isolated so I recalled seeing that and thought I would share, now clearly I should have added some text instead of just posting it and it would have saved all this, but it is what it is, FFS.

Lukaku had to come deeper to receive the ball today playing alongside Mirallas.

Re being isolated - your maps don't show this as they relate to touch rather than the players position with and without the ball. If you're isolated up front you do not receive the ball so often so you have to come back deeper to receive - which was my original point.

Lukaku was certainly more isolated than usual, but I put that down more to no Deloufeu rather than Mirallas who didn't see much of the ball in all honesty (same for any player who plays out on the left for us).

According to Sky there is talk of Monaco being interested in Mirallas during the January transfer window.

The fact he's not currently making our starting XI will be jeopardising his position for the Euros this summer so I'm sure he'll push for a move.

Agreed. He'll have the Euro's in mind no doubts. I think he should be given littlw run in the team now. Kone has not done too much since we beat Sunderland.
