Cahill was an terrible midfielder, and even worse technically....good striker though.

Barmby was a forward, pienaar a wide made as with kanchelskis, and Gravesen was crap for 3 years, good for 5 months that got his move, well over rated.

Ross is technically brilliant, and controlls a game like no player appart from arteta for us in a long long time.

I watch Ross enough, it's like watching an Aston Martin being driven by a retard. To suggest that Cahill and any winger isn't a midfielder is madness.

To compare a winger to a central midfielder suggests a massive lack of understanding of those positions.

Just watched the first goal again, he wont even get an assist but it was all about ross, 3 times in that move he demanded the ball, moved us forward, found space an got the ball back, just proper boss midfielding, his detractors dont understand football enough to realise how good that was
