Roberto Martinez discussion

I said earlier I remained unconvinced about him long term, I am now convinced that he should be removed there is no excuse here for losing this game and no excuse for the poor defending . He is the manager and must accept responsibilty for the poor results. If he had any sort of character there should be a resignation on BK's desk.

This is turning into a repeat of last season and if folk are hanging on for a league Cup or FA Cup as a mark of success they are deluded.

What becomes more clear to me by the week is that it's a good group of players with absolutely no tactical awareness.

What impact does Martinez have on them? I honestly think it's very little. You never come away from a game thinking we got that absolutely spot on with our approach today.

One area any manager can have an impact on is organising a defence. He's completely torn up the solid foundations we had and it's not coming back any time soon. We will not beat a top 10 team all season if we continue conceding goals like this, that's an absolute embarrassment when you look at the talent we have.

He needs to go, unfortunately. The individual brilliance in the team is intrinsic to the players, but the sloppy cavalier defending is all about the manager and would be sorted by even the most functional of replacements.

I just want us to do the basics right - sick of us being mental.

What a bunch of entitled deluded Geordies. Reactionary beauts, posting 10 mins after the final whistle
Come up with something original, offer something constructive, instead of just attacking people who don't agree with your views perhaps? Then you might get away with labelling people "beauts"
