One thing Martinez does not change since his time at Wigan. That is he cannot set up a team to defend.

This is his third season and now 19 games has gone. Any more excuse? Like 6 points from top 6 with 19 games to go.

Anyone wanting him sacked is being ridiculous, but the blind following Martinez has among some on here is startling.

The defence is an absolute shambles, and that's putting it in the most polite of terms. What are they doing on the training ground? My guess is absolutely nothing. There's no shape or cohesion to them whatsoever. It doesn't help that he's got an unknown Argentinian settling into the Premier League alongside a kid at centre half, but that's another discussion altogether.

What's most concerning is our inability to win a football match against decent teams. It's no coincidence that our last 3 victories came against the 3 teams in the relegation zone. We ARE underachieving, anyone who suggests otherwise needs to open their eyes.

I just hope his "solution" for our woeful defending isn't just jags is back soon. Tho he hasn't sorted it in 2 years I don't hold out much hope of it being sorted anytime soon. I'd nearly argue it's getting worse rather than better.

I'm done now. I want this fraud out of our club now. He has proved time and time again he has not got the quality to manage a team in defending, he picks liability's like Barry every week. I'm fed up with the positive media coverage he gets. Watford, Stoke, palace we have failed to beat at home this season. He keeps telling us we have a exceptional bunch of players, the best young talent in Europe. If that's the case how come you can't get them achieving better results. We won't win anything with him in charge. Get out now.

Unique formation lads, I was wondering how we'd fare with Kone and Naismith on at the same time. Roberto showed balls of steel to try that and his flexible approach will bring rewards eventually.

The problem now is he'll lose the talent in summer. No doubt about that.

You cannot fault the attacking play. But if you've got two defensive midfielders and a back 4 and concede that many goals, the attack is a waste of time.

Was prepared to give him till the end of the season, but what's the point, we can see he's done and we're in no danger of going down and have absolutely no hope of keeping our best players while we play like suicidal idiots with that defence.
