Why aren't you allowed to just be wrong?
Kone ain't dross just average as is Robles. Alcaraz was mostly ok as fourth choice on a free.
Del and Lukaku are both here on permanent deals.
Were the players we brought in "rubbish" as you so succinctly put it?

I dont get it?

Robles / Kone / Alcaraz = Rubbish and i was correct...

McCarthy the only permanent signing for Fellaini = Correct

Gueye /Heitinga/Jelavic = Dross. Again correct.

Deulofeu didnt stay = Correct.

The only thing i was wrong on was Lukaku.

This season he isn't, Gomis has 5 league goals whereas Kone also has 5 goals plus 4 assist in less minutes (1055 vs 1213)

Regardless he wants to be first choice (he threw his toys out the pram when Bony was starting despite having only just joined Swansea and not shown any form to deserve to displace him), has a weird deal with Swansea that would make them reluctant to sell and generally seems a bit of an egotistical tit.

Seriously though I'm not being awkward i just dont see how i was wrong other than with Lukaku signing for £28mil and who predicted that when we loaned him?!?!?!

Jelavic/Gueye/ heitinga were still here and we signed alcaraz /robles / kone who are awful wastes of money.

Also we sold fellani who was one of our top players and signed McCarthy..who i think is amazng btw.

Same as Cisse in that when he was young was extremely highly rated. I'd class him as a foreign "Shane Long" type (though long is also irish so foreign i suppose).

We should be aiming for the next lukaku (Embolo) next martial (dembele) or someone tried and trusted Charlie Austin.

Cant see the point of signing worse than we have unless they have top potential....Gomis would surely make our other top players question what theyre doing here if thats the height of our ambition.
