Shoemess and Isotonic looked gutted on sky.
When Liverpool win it's down to klopp.
when they lose its down to the players.
its complete nonsense!

You got a plan to beat these Ash?
Nailed it.Yeah, they should do it like us. When we win, it's the players, when we lose it's Martinez.
just do what Watford and Newcastle and palace did to them.
it's martinez's philosophy mate already.Good idea mate. Score more than them and you've defo got a chance I suppose.
I completely agree mate.
When he arrived he was full of stories about how he admired 'the English game' and how he'd adapted it for th Bundesliga. Well, now he's here and experiencing some of the play he so admired up close and he cant hack it.
I wouldn't write him off too quickly. He's a manager with a record that needs respecting and he will get money to spend and could import genuine class. But he's looking like a bit of a duffer at the moment. His excuses dont bode well for an upturn, imo. If he was confident of building something at Liverpool he'd be a lot more circumspect than he has been of late. He does not look like a happy or confident man.
Interesting to hear Deeney's comments on the radio after the game - saying that Liverpool's defence were easy to bully and that Skrtel looked like he took himself off because he didn't fancy the challenge.
Pretty damning that.

Yes, I think this might be a big worry for him. He's built his whole approach around a pretty basic pressing game and that can be countered with great ease in our footy culture with the majority of clubs who'd use a direct game. Better players he can and will get, but it might not be decisive if he's faced with opposition who dont hang around with, or really need much of, the ball. His record at Dortmund is fantastic, particularly in getting to a champions league final. That was his best achievement for me. He won the league twice when Bayern were in transition with a massive club like Dortmund. A bit like winning it with Arsenal or whatever. To get to the pinnacle of Europe was an outstanding achievement though. Liverpool fans were typically bullish when they got him. A few mocked me for allegedly pretending not to be fearful of him. I am not fearful of him in the least. I thought he'd have a honeymoon period but would eventually come un stuck. This is now the key question for him. He now looks an angry man who is loft for answers, lashing out at opposition managers. Watford played it perfectly today. Two strikers, direct and don't hold onto possession in areas where you can get harmed.
Lucas is far too lightweight while Sakho/Skirtl have mistakes in them. I fancy them to lose the next two games. They could very easily lose the next 4.

I bet he's rueing the day he left Germany now given that the big job at Bayern was actually up for grabs. It sounds like he lost patience with Bayern and flounced out of the country.
