Thats how he rolls, his agenda is to protect his master roberto at whatever cost.
My master?

No mate. Just not party to your amateur dramatics and need for a scapegoat of a manager who you wouldn't have come out of your cave to attack just a couple of weeks back.

I expect you'll retire to the cave after the next win comes our way.

Again.

Nonsense.

It's not knee-jerk to one game. In fact, he's a poll from before the Leicester game;

How does that nullify my point that it's knee jerking? There's a big difference from half the respondents (how many, btw?) stating they dont feel the manager will get the best from the squad and people saying they want a new manager.

Dave likes to refer back to our EX to highlight his support for RM.

Okay, I will refer back to Wigan

look at our last season and this so far, is there a pattern?

If Leicester can lead the league into Christmas then we can compete for the top 4.
Not the same thing. Do you believe LC will get a CL spot in May? I agree, we can compete for a CL spot in the sense we can up our defending and keep within touching distance of the shake up for 4th, but that's a nothing like expectation. We should never expect CL football with the resources we have. It's just fantasy island stuff.

Yeah, because Wigan and Everton performances are equatable.

I'm making up that he brought the great players in and has them playing great football? That is a fact. Feel free to argue the reverse like.

It seems the more I remain calm and consistent, the more others get agitated and and inconsistent.
That's wasn't his point and you know it Dave, you said about me that I said he had to go unless he won the cup on the back of me posting

All he has to do is keep us up, if he wins the cup

It's that sort of exaggerating the truth (putting it politely) that over the past few weeks has become a bit of a trait of yours. Like before you pretty much said anyone who doesn't want Martinez wants a 'Hoofball manager'

You never used to do that crap, certainly not as regularly as you currently are.

It's one thing to be supportive of Martinez, which this morning/early afternoon, must have been harder than usual as its been page after page after page of you posting or being quoted and in the main disagreed with, but to not acknowledge why Evertonians are disillusioned with the results is crazy.

But you said this league is dominated by money clubs and we can only HOPE to get their scraps? How is it the mighty Leicester with all their billions are far better? Watford? Crystal Palace?
They're not better. What makes you think they're better? A point or two in the league at this point of the season proves something?

Let's leave that talk until May.

Martinez has heard the bell ring but he does not know where the bell is - he is on the right way but has a long way to go.

We are playing much more attractive football than before but we are apart from Lukaku fairly toothless - while leaking goals far too easily

Martinez must surely by now realize that every good side has a pretty good nr 10 - go and find one to link Lukaku with Deulefeu and Mirallas in the middle of the pitch

Attacking with wingbacks leaves a side vulnerable on the counter - please leave majority of attacking to the forwards like Leicester and Bournemouth do

Martinez has a good squad but he has not found his best starting 11 yet - and he does not try hard enough to find it by failing toproperly utilize his bench

I will not fire him as long as he improves and improvises - he better start doing just that much more visibly

We need more variety in attack - at the moment all the opposition has to do is to suffocate Deulefeu on the right

I don't expect Martinez to leave anytime soon, but when the time finally comes I'll be glad to see the back of him.

He seems to think he has a team of superstars that just need to be sent out and given free rein to play however they see fit, but the reality is that they're nowhere near talented enough to make it work. They don't appear to drill any basic in-game scenarios, which is why something as simple as taking a throw in can end in disaster. Compare it to how Pardew had Palace's back four organised last week and it starts to reek of the sort of lazy management that we all ridicule 'Appy 'Arry for.

His blatant favouring of limited footballers undermines everything his 'philosophy' aims to achieve, and his view that centre midfield is simply for fouling and crab passing is hardly the hallmark of a purist. I don't know what he expects will come from only ever having one reliable goalscorer in the side either. Mirallas is the only player other than Lukaku who you could realistically expect to chip in with more than five goals per season, and yet the manager seems determined to push him out of the door in January.

I give Martinez credit for the belief he's shown in Deulofeu, but the sad truth is that if he doesn't turn up, Everton don't win.
