Roberto Martinez discussion

Maybe it's expectations.

Under Moyes we got used to top 6 finishes, even with his apparently dreadful style of football.

Silly us for wanting the team to finish as high as possible, we should be happy with mid table and the odd semi final.

It's an acronym - four letters as collection of four words.

We've had the stability of 17 wins in over 50 games, hardly knee-jerking is it.

It's a swear word as far as I'm concerned. especially when aimed at a fellow blue.

Nice one for being pedantic though. :bye:

We're 10th in the table, 6 points off top 4. Does he get things wrong? Yes. does he deserve the sack right now? No chance.

We will get snotted by City anyway. Of that I'm certain.

The problem for Martinez is that Moyes did extremely well in the league, probably out performed where we should've been. It looks more and more likely that Martinez can't live up to that.

17 wins in over 50 games suggests he gets it wrong a fair bit.

People forget in his last season we played some brilliant football and he set everything up for the manager to take us on.

Maybe all el Bob needs is to add a decent defensive coach? Someone to show us how to unceremoniously clear dabger rather than court it. Whats Dave Watson doing these days? Or better still Degsey?
