Ha! It really isn't. I don't see the problem in judging a manager after the dust has settled on the season. We're not getting the results, but the football is there. Martinez will have us winning soon enough.

And that's fine. But that doesn't excuse Martinez outright lying to the fans does it and treating them like idiots?

I'm not expecting him to call individual players out or whatever, but I just don't expect lies from an Everton manager either. We laughed at Rodgers when he did it, when our manager is much worse at it.

It's really not hard to envisage 60 points though. Let's assume we take 4 points from our next two (ifs and buts but let's assume), then we're on 27 points at exactly the half way mark. Then the second half of the season would only have to improve slightly for us to reach 60.

Anyway, 3 points from the last 4 games, given the opposition faced is truly, truly shocking. Results need to improve and improve fast. Win that Capital One thing as well Everton.

He has to use Moyes as a benchmark. It's one of the worse points he makes, bordering on lying (again) when he says if you don't want Martinez you want hoofball as though no other option is available, talk about stereotyping
