For me he has to go. Criminal underachievement with the players we have and his man management of players like Distin, Mirallas and now possibly Naismith these past 2 seasons have been very poor. How Kone plays ahead of Mirallas I'll never know.

The writing was on the wall for Rodgers, Monk, Mourinho, soon to be Van Gaal and it's got to be for Martinez. Get someone in with fresh ideas who hopefully can have us getting the points to match the performances. A new manager bounce going into the cup semi's wouldn't hurt like either.

I'm not exactly sure what he's done to Mirallas. He's been awful this season and 1 goal today doesn't absolve him of poor performances vs Norwich and Swansea

Martinez is and will remain our manager until he says he's going. The board are happy with him, the majority of fans would never want him gone especially after seeing this brand of football and what it can potentially achieve. There is no 'other manager' out there coming.

Just settle down and enjoy the season; we might just nick a a trophy yet.

Cleverley was fine IMO

He is ok as a player but he doesn't offer anything today especially protection for CB in midfield. I won't play him in CM. Only as a side midfielder.

What's wrong with backing the manager lad? I've disagreed with dave on a few issues over the years, but I admire his loyalty to the gaffer. A few on here could do with Dave's attitude.

I don't see what Martinez is trying to do any more. Under-performing players are safe in the team, we always look unconvincing as a defensive unit and as a result, we gift the opposition goals which is making us a soft touch. I think our exciting attacking play is papering over the cracks.

I admire your defence of him but these are the facts. We were hardly the only side to win at old trafford that season were we? Yes we beat Aresenal 3-0 (and the return fixture against Utd 2-0 shortly after). However, true to form Martinez still contrived to lose to Palace in between and blow a CL spot. Martinez tenure will go down as wasted years and squandered talent in my view

Of course he is going knowhere. Tho imo he is killing us. Have just aired on the hope that he was the man, now think its time for him to go. He is very lucky that he is still at EFC, we as a club like to be loyal to managers, but maybe its time the people who lead our club showed some balls and some forsight and look for someone else
