Roberto Martinez discussion

I remember Martinez and the players saying they learn from their mistakes, that's full of crap, too many times they play with an arrogance of won the match before the match is over, panic in their own box because of howard who has been shocking. Easy passes to find the perfect goal rather than dislodge the opposition defence, put ourselves under pressure when winning as I think they get board and then cant rectify it. Plays the same players the same way, they get the ball do a turn unnecessarily and then pass, looks good but just gave the opposing team extra time to get back. To have so many conceded goals from teams that have only 2 shots a match is frankly not premier league standard, they might talk a good game after and before the game but their actions on it count most, and that is a terrible statistic. For a team to be so good one half and bad the other smacks to me of corruption in betting patterns as it near impossible for that reversal of fortune every match against inferior teams. I will not watch anymore until the same pattern of evertons dominance and then shocking abject 2nd half shambles changes. spoend a week practicing defending corners, a second note of concern is evertons ability to find a decent throw in which are terrible, they keep adding pressure on to themselves and letting teams back in. defence wins matches as well Martinez and yours cant defend certain things by different people continuously. Too annoyed really to let everton piss me off week in week out. If they are going to insult me by the way they play I as stated before wont watch them

Yeah but they had that one chance and took it, we should have been out of sight at half time and that lays firmly with the players, same goes for the Palace game. Missed chances are costing us at the moment.
Yes they are, very much indeed and it's frustrating.

Cracking team we nearly have here though. That first half.

We're missing something though, a bit of snide I reckon.

God bless those people. Truly the pride of Merseyside.

Some of them were right along, from the first day in the job. Such foresight.

Good on you, you manage to laugh in the face of mediocrity.

I have been supportive of Martinez in the past, I am not a doom monger.

We are on the verge of something good, but we are also on the verge of seeing another opportunity wasted. It feels closer to the latter at the moment.

Let me guess lads?? Unlucky draw??
It's all well and good playing amazing football but when it results in very little it's frustrating as hell
we should have had that won in the first half. Not Bobby's fault we missed our chances.
What more could he have done in the second half?

Players thought it was only a matter of time before we scored again and played sloppily. Del needs to man up, of course he's going to get players going through him, pushing him around. can't just sulk and be intimidated by it.

We created all the chances we needed to, both first and second half. Just failed to take them.
Kev was incredibly poor when he came on.

Need to work on defending corners but there were positives to take. 2 points dropped again, we need to start winning.
