Bilyaletdinov and Jo. Are they the longest and shortest names that have ever played for Everton? I feel there maybe someone with a longer name, but Jo is certainly the shortest.

(OK I know Jo's real name is a lot longer but 'Jo' is what he has always been known as).

Can't remember what Preki's full real name was, maybe that was longer?

so what the preki guy any good?

any memories of him?

He never really got a regular place, decent squad player. Went to Pompey then to States. Became a US citizen and played for the national team. He played over there till he was 42!!

I remember him scoring for us against boro away in the spring of 92' - we eventually won the game which made us safe from any threat of relegation :( (the dark old days)

I was their for that. Was at Ayrsome park ( One of the worse grounds i ever visited). Dave Watson scored the second an we won 2-1.

Lennie Lawrance said that was the game that relegated them that season. One of my Fav away games ever. I was about 16.

I wasn't there, but I remember it because I had been dragged to Haig Ave to watch southport beat barrow and get promoted back to the conference for the first time in years.
The game was utter sh*te, but luckily I had my walkman with me so I listenened to the everton game instead (y)(y)

I think that was also the day when Utd beat shef wed with the infamous extra extra stoppage time steve bruce goals and brian Kidd did his knee skidding routine.

I'm half watching Die Hard 2 and answering to threads here.

Jos full name is Joao Alves de Assis Silva, I like that better.

That Preki person first name was Pedrag something as pointed out, scored a couple on the last day in a 5-2 win at Manchester City around about 1993 or thereabouts.

Longest letters, Kanchelskis, not nearly long enough.

Alexandersson, nearly there. no, I've hit a dead end with this one.

Yippee Ki-Ay ToffeeWebbers.
